Biography
Lisa Larson was one of Sweden's most beloved designers. With her playful and humorous style, she created ceramic figures that have become classics in Swedish homes.
She started at the Gustavsberg porcelain factory in 1954 and worked there for over 25 years. Her figures are characterised by strong colours, soft shapes and a warm expression that has appealed to generation after generation.
Larson's work has gained international recognition, especially in Germany and Japan, and she has been exhibited in museums around the world. She had her first exhibition at the Röhsska Museum in 1954, and in 2016 her 60-year career was celebrated in an anniversary exhibition.
