Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn

Biography
Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn was active in the Bohus stickning association. The Mannheimer family was greatly involved in the project. They had also long supported sheep breeding projects in Sweden, the aim of which was to achieve domestic production of high quality wool. When she visited Göteborg, Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn collected wools for colour and pattern compositions. At home in Copenhagen she gave her imagination free rein in patterns that combined plain and purl stitches in refined colourways. Her “Blå skimmer” (blue shimmer) pattern came to be one of the most popular patterns in Bohus stickning’s production.
