Astrid Sampe

Astrdi Sampe, 1909-2002. Swedish textiledesigner. She became a great innovator of textile and textile methods during the 20th century. She experimented with new materials as waterresistant and inflamable textiles and also made the first computerised patterns in cooperation with IBM. Her design became famous for its ascetic and stringent touch as in "Swedish Mo0dern".
