Berit Ternell

Berit Ternells first contact with Uppsala-Ekeby was 1951 when she practised for Mari Simmelson and Ingrid Atterberg. She was hired at Gefle Porslinsfabrik in 1957 and worked with new colors and glazes. She used an innovative design language with bold colors and daring forms. 1971 she moved to Göteborg and started to work as a much appreciated teacher at HDK, Högskolan för design och konsthantverk.
