Göta Trägårdh

Göta Trädgårdh, 1904-84, swedish textile designer. In 1939 she started Beckmans skola AB (Beckmans School of Design AB) in cooperation with Anders Beckman.She worked tirelessly to get swedish modernist designers into the 20th century textileindustry. During her active workperiod she was employed at Gefle Ångväveri and Stobo AB 1954-64. Together with young colleges she created the new "Stobofashion" whisch was presented at the great Helsingborgsutställningen 1955 (H55). She ended her career working at Gamlestadens fabriker AB.
