Description
Gunnar Wennerberg designed a number of exclusive, hand-painted decorations that have become Swedish classics for the 1897 Public Art and Industry Exhibition in Stockholm. Both “Liljekonvalj” and “Snödroppe” display a stylised elegance, as do “Lindlöf”, “Gullviva” and “Gunnar” with its small, dense clover leaves. “Gullviva” (Primrose) was drawn for the 1897 Stockholm Exhibition, but was first in production between 1905 and 1920. Gunnar Wennerberg worked at Gustavsberg until 1908.
