Description
The iconic teapot ’Pop’ by Inger Persson launched in 1968 at Rörstrand. Inspired by the middle east the form is characterized by a modern interpretation of oriental romanticism. ‘Pop’ was awarded a gold medal at the 1969 ceramics biennale in Faenza. The Pop-series would eventually include ten different pieces all finished in the same vividly colored glaze.
