Description
The Panton Chair is a classic in 20th century furniture history. Designed by Verner Panton in 1960, the chair didn't go into serial production until 1967 through a partnership with Vitra. It was the first chair to be made entirely out of plastic using one single piece. The chair looks deceptively simple but hides a complexity, with its sweeping and sinuous shapes and the technical requirements for stability The chair's comfortable seating position is a result of the soft lines that follow the shape of the body combined with the slightly flexible material. The chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
