Description
A 1950s stainless steel double-sided electric toaster with a fabric-covered electric cord. It has a spring-loaded door with bakelite handles on either side for opening and loading bread for toasting. The toaster is manual and requires someone to stand by during the toasting process. Once one side of the slice is done, the door is opened and the bread turned over in ordet to toast the other side. The Elektro-Helios toaster harkens back to a technology and models launched in the 1910s. The designer of this toaster is unknown.
