Description
A stoneware relief featuring a man whose head is crowned by a TV screen showing a woman’s face. The relief was created at Gustavsberg in 1962–63 in a small edition for Luma and was probably handed out to retailers of Luma’s products. It was apparently jokingly given the model name “Tv på hjärnan” (TV on the brain). It might seem absurd to produce an advertising article for the latest technology in a handcrafting material like ceramic that is thousands of years old, but it is a contradiction typical of Stig Lindberg’s work.
