Description
Stig Lindberg is one of Sweden’s best-loved designers. He was active in a variety of fields, including illustration, sculpture, textile prints and industrial design. Stig Lindberg played with form and put colour to everyday utensils. He designed numerous tableware sets and many unique objects, several of which are in the Röhsska Museum collection. In 2015, the textile company Ljungbergs Factory, in association with Stig Lindberg’s son Lars, relaunched fabrics based on old sample prints by Stig Lindberg from the company’s archives. The Printemps (Spring) pattern was designed in 1947 and launched in the first collection at NK-Bo.
