Axel Enoch Boman

Biography
Axel Enoch Boman designed a large amount of glassware, but he is best known as a glass polisher. He made exquisite works according to sketches by great artists such as Anna Boberg, Ferdinand Boberg, Alf Wallander, Gunnar Wennerberg, etc., and was held in extremely high regard. At the Paris exhibition in 1900 he was awarded a bronze medal for his overlay glass. Boman worked at Kosta, 1898–1903, and then at Reijmyre from 1903 and into the 1910s. After this he worked at glassworks in Norway and Denmark and also had his own workshop in two different periods.
