Description
Alf Wallander was greatly inspired by a type of underglaze painting found at the Royal Copenhagen factory in Denmark. He drew a couple of different services for Rörstrand, including Trollslända (1908), Iris (also called Lilja, 1897-1910) and Tulpan (1897-1910) which were designed for the 1897 Stockholm Exhibition. All three were very expensive to produce so quickly went out of production.
