18th Century Design and Craft room 1

This is the first room in the exhibition Forms of the 18th Century on the second floor. It features a selection from the museum’s extensive 18th-century collection, including furniture, clothing, ceramics, and silver, along with an interior from Hökälla Manor. Visitors encounter period objects that illustrate the flowing lines of Rococo, an introduction to the century’s wide variety of forms and designs. The objects reflect both elegance and practical function, showing how decoration and design varied across different social contexts.
