The third room explores Nordic 20th-century design inspired by East Asia. Here, objects from the museum’s historical collections are paired with contemporary design, showing how East Asian craftsmanship continues to inspire Nordic artists today. Works by designers such as Lisa Larson and Stig Lindberg are displayed alongside contemporary creators like Emma von Brömssen, whose Dancing Crane pattern draws directly on East Asian motifs and techniques.
