Japanese Craft

At the top of the museum is an exhibition of Japanese crafts from around 1600–1900. The Japanese collection was a central part of the museum from its opening in 1916. Here, a selection of objects from the extensive collections is on display, including a 1905 collection from Fredrik Martin, which comprised 800 pieces of Japanese art and craft.
